Steve Munsterteiger Driver of the 1st Quarter 2011

Steve grew up on a farm in Freeport, MN where he learned to drive. After high school he joined the army where he was a truck driver. He was stationed 1 year in Korea, 2 years in Germany and 3 years in Kansas.
After the army he went to work at Northwest Airline as baggage handler and got promoted to Equipment Service Chief. In 2005 after 18 years he got tired of handling baggage and he decided to go back to truck driving.
Steve drove for Magnum Companies as over the road driver for 1 year. Then he started working as a city and line haul driver for Madison Freight Systems. After 1 year the company got sold out and Steve lost his job. Then he worked for Caledonia Haulers pulling ‘food grade’ tanker. His next driving job was hauling waste for Gibson transfer.
